We are Genuine Ice Cream, a Bozeman, Montana based small-batch, hand-made ice creamery that draws inspiration from the Montana lifestyle. We work hard, enjoy life’s simple pleasures, and treat everyone like our neighbor.

Owner of Genuine Ice Cream

"In early 2020, I bought the business that I had worked passionately behind the scenes to help create — spending 3 years as the General Manager before stepping into ownership. I poured my heart and soul into building and growing a company that I could be proud of — one that donates generously, is respected in the business community, and offers a supportive and growth-oriented work environment. I've also always been connected with the outdoors – it's been my go-to place at different stages of my life. And, since it's taught me a lot about myself, I believe in giving back to organizations that protect it so that we can all enjoy the same opportunities."

  • All Genuine ice cream and treats are made by hand, here in Bozeman. Almost every ingredient is made from scratch in our kitchen on the west side of town.

  • Genuine Ice Cream handcrafts small batch ice creams using only the highest quality ingredients and a whole ton of love in each pint. We do not use any artificial ingredients or colors. Our ice cream is considered a super premium ice cream, meaning that we have a higher milk fat content. This milk fat is what provides the ultra creamy texture that we all love. Being based out of Bozeman, MT is something that we hold close to our hearts. Our flavors are inspired by the Montana lifestyle and scenery. Even if you are not from Montana, you can pick up subtle notes on our packaging that are sure to leave you planning a trip to come visit. Buying Genuine Ice Cream also gives back to the community, as we are a 2% for Conservation certified business.
